General information on data protection
VSF-Suisse complies with the provisions of Swiss data protection legislation and treats your customer data confidentially. However, in connection with your use of the website, certain data will be evaluated by web analysis services, but they will not be linked to personal data. There is therefore no direct identification of your use of our website.
Evaluation of website use, web analysis services
This website uses cookies, small files that are sent from the web server to your internet browser and stored in your computer. The website mainly works with permanent cookies for anonymized web statistics, and in the online shop with “session” oriented cookies to guarantee orders. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to servers abroad and stored there. Handling of data in connection with purchase, donation, newsletter or contact
Through your purchases on this website or your donation you are a patron or customer of VSF-Suisse and your address will be added to the VSF-Suisse database. We treat this customer data as strictly confidential. For address and contact maintenance or for the production and dispatch of a campaign, it may be necessary to send extracts of this data to a service provider commissioned by us (e.g. the postal service), Print shop). They are also subject to the Data Protection Act; they may not use the data for any other purpose or pass it on. Other than that VSF-Suisse does not market, sell or pass on data to third parties.
We receive personal data in various ways, directly from people who are interested in VSF-Suisse, order information and brochures, subscribe to a newsletter or support us financially. These are compared with the existing address database and stored electronically. They are used exclusively for the purposes of VSF-Suisse.
This personal data is processed within the framework of a data protection management system (DSMS) in accordance with the national Swiss regulations: SR 235.1 (DSG), SR 235.11 (VDSG) and SR 235.13 (VDSZ), Art. 4 para. 3 incl. the directive of the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) on the minimum requirements for the DSMS with selected control objectives from ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The data protection management system is operated by an external service provider; it is certified and reviewed annually. The personal data is hosted and maintained in Switzerland. No data is transferred abroad.
Contact via the contact form will not be included in the VSF-Suisse database, unless explicitly requested. The data (name, gender, e-mail address) collected during registration for the newsletter will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
