The VSF-Suisse Association
VSF-Suisse was founded in 1988 by students of veterinary medicine at the University of Berne. With a great vision and thousands of volunteer hours, it managed to implement the first two projects in 1996 in what is now South Sudan. In the same year, a professionally managed office was opened in Berne. ujourd’hui, VSF-Suisse a environ 350 membres et emploie quelques 150 collaborateur/-trices locaux dans cinq bureaux-pays en Afrique ainsi que dix personnes au siège. Ensemble, ils gèrent en moyenne 40 à 50 projets par an en Éthiopie, au Burkina Faso, en Côte d’Ivoire, au Kenya, au Mali, au Niger, en Somalie, au Soudan du Sud, au Tchad et au Togo. VSF-Suisse est une organisation partenaire de la Chaîne du Bonheur et est certifiée par la Zewo.
