The VSF-Suisse Association

VSF-Suisse was founded on 20.12.1988 in Bern. The association is modelled on the experience of VSF-France, which is based on the successful realisation of a large number of projects in various countries.

The aim of the association is to provide veterinary aid and assistance to the poor and to fight against hunger in the world by using the skills and knowledge it has at its disposal. The main focus is the capacity building of the people for whom we work, the simplification of breeding programmes and veterinary prevention.

VSF works largely in Africa. The organisation offers its work independently of religious or political affiliation and ethnicity.

The association is open to veterinarians, agronomists, technicians and all those who are familiar with or interested in animal health and animal breeding.
