We work with local partners to identify projects that deliver the greatest benefit and seek to secure the necessary funding. Each project is carefully reviewed and developed collaboratively with communities, local authorities, and private sector stakeholders. Our focus is on sustainable solutions for animal health and improved food security.
VSF-Suisse works in several countries in the Sahel and the Horn of Africa, where our work with livestock keepers can have the greatest impact. We are currently active in Mali, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Togo, Niger, Chad, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, and Kenya.
92.6% of your donation goes directly to our project work on the ground. We operate transparently and regularly report on our progress. Our administrative costs are minimal (4.9% administration, 2.5% fundraising) to ensure maximum impact.

We use clear indicators to document the impact of our work. These include improved animal health, higher incomes, and strengthened communities. Regular evaluations show us where we are effective.
